Mabel Amapali

Mabel Amapali is the founder of May's Specialties, a catering business that provides customized food services for weddings, corporate events, private dinners, and community celebrations.

Through May’s Specialties, she created a line of fresh cold-pressed juices and drinks, incorporating products from our farm and working with local farmers to highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Originally from Toronto, May relocated to the Town of Minto, where she saw the opportunity to build and contribute to the local community, launching Mays Café at the Old Post. The café is located in a historic building that once served as the town’s post office, offeringfresh organic coffee, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, homemade soups, sandwiches, wraps, pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.

May’s entrepreneurial journey reflects my commitment to hospitality, community engagement, and creating memorable experiences through food, whether serving customers in the café or providing catering for special events.
