Veronika Cook

Veronika Cook has worked in the customer service and restaurant and hospitality industry her entire life. Together with her husband David, who she met at Georgian College in the Culinary Management program, they have resided in Ripley for 35 years and always kept their hands busy in the industry even when they had other jobs.

In 2018, they participated in a "Win This Space" contest coordinated by the Township of Huron-Kinloss and won. They decided to open a restaurant on our terms with their many years of knowledge and experience: FIG Studio Kitchen, which has evolved to become a destination restaurant in the region.

Like many small business owners, Veronika manages multiple aspects of the business as chef/baker, accountant, HR, administration, problem solver and go-to person in the business.
