Lauren Hambleton

Lauren is the baker, creative and owner behind Red Hen Artisanale, a baking studio rooted along the Saugeen River in Grey County.

She specializes in teaching sourdough, but also offers a variety of other hands‑on workshops focused on all things grains: pasta, pizza, pies, bagels, etc.

Lauren hosts empowering experiences that bring people together around good food and shared curiosity. She leans on her background as a Pastry Chef of 10 years, and Baking Instructor at Humber College to confidently guide guests through the day.

Lauren writes for her community monthly, sharing tales of travel, food, and the characters she meets along the way. Outside of the studio, Lauren enjoys tending to a large garden and uncovering hidden gems in the region she calls home.
